Donkey Dreamland totally relies upon the generosity of our friends and supporters through their generous donations. It currently costs about €4,500 per month to keep the sanctury running. There are many ways you could contribute. €1 doesn’t buy much these days. In some places you may be lucky to get a small cup of coffee for €1, or a bag of rice, or maybe a kilo of potatoes, or perhaps a small beer. Would you give up one small beer a month to help Rescue, Rehab, Recuperate and Rehome beautiful donkeys?

Whilst it might seem that €1 a month won’t make much difference, rest assured, when it is combined with a few other donations of just €1 per month, it make a HUGE difference. For example:

10 x €1 – can buy a donkey’s weekly medicine

15 x €1 – feeds a donkey for a week

20 x €1 – pays for a farrier to trim a donkeys hooves

30 x €1 – pays for freshwater for a month

It currently costs about €4,500 per month to run the sanctuary and your donations are essential to keep the sanctuary running. In addition to the costs of recuperation, every time another donkey needs rescuing from abuse or neglect, there will be additional costs such as transport, veterinary fees and in some more extreme cases, hospital fees.

Every single euro helps the sanctuary to operate and we are so grateful for every donation. There are many ways you can help. Becoming one of our “Best Friends” goes along way towards securing our future. Alternatively you can sponsor donkeys, set up a monthly donation or make a one off donation.
